Welcome to NCT Edinburgh

Edinburgh NCT provides classes, groups and counselling services, offering parents information and support during pregnancy and the early years of parenthood.

The NCT has two branches in Edinburgh; Edinburgh South & Edinburgh North. When you join the NCT, you will automatically become a member of the appropriate branch according to the area of the city that you live in.

North Edinburgh is (roughly!): Trinity, Leith, Portobello, Musselburgh, New Town, Comely Bank, Stockbridge, Blackhall, Corstorphine, Barnton and South Queensferry.

South Edinburgh is (roughly!): Bruntsfield, Marchmont, Morningside, Newington, Liberton, Craiglockhart, Colinton, Fairmilehead, Balerno and Currie.

Each of the two branches runs its own fundraising, postnatal groups and social events. Each branch produces a regular newsletter which includes details of all these groups and activities.

In addition, local branches join forces to provide the popular NCT antenatal classes, postnatal discussion courses and breastfeeding counselling. To book antenatal classes please use the main N C T Website.

YOUR BRANCH NEEDS YOU

Your NCT branch is run by a small and changing group of parents of young children, just like you. We know you don't have any SPARE time. Could you squeeze time to come and join us?

Bumps & Babies Coordinator & Hosts
Newsletter editor(s)
Coffee group hosts
Maternity Services Liaison Comittee NCT Representative (meets monthly on Thursdays)
Secretary

If this doesn't appeal but you fancy getting involved, please drop us a line. Another pair of hands is always welcome. It might be helping out at a nearly new sale, baking some cakes for the cafe, stuffing newsletters, making tea for the bumps and babies, or you might have some other ideas.
